Dickwella beach - Sri Lanka

The Dickwella Beach has been able to grow in popularity at a steep pace over the recent years and the natural splendour of the beach and its surroundings captivates many a visitor. Apart from the beauty of the Dickwella beach, the surrounding area is also renowned for both its natural as well and cultural significance. The only blow-hole to be discovered in Sri Lanka is situated a few minutes’ drive from the beach where in certain months the water travels nearly 70 feet in height.

The tallest Buddha statue of Sri Lanka, which reaches a height of 50 metres, is situated just a few kilometres away from the beach and a considerable number of pilgrims visit this area.
